Bungalow To Two Storey House- Chislehurst
Extension and Reconfiguration
Our role extended from the initial design concept through to securing planning permission from the London Borough of Bromley. We successfully navigated the planning process, overcoming challenges to achieve approval for the significant transformation. Following approval, we assisted in discharging planning conditions, ensuring compliance with all necessary requirements.
The design process involved careful consideration of internal reconfiguration, optimizing the layout for a bright and contemporary living space. We worked through complex design elements to create a highly appealing and well-lit interior, tailored to modern family life. Additionally, we designed and secured approval for a stylish, functional outbuilding within the garden to serve as a dedicated home office.
Beyond planning, we also prepared the Building Regulations drawings, ensuring full compliance with current regulations and facilitating a smooth construction process. The result is a beautifully modernized, energy-efficient home that seamlessly connects with its outdoor space while providing practical and stylish living solutions.

The Brief
Our client sought to transform a dated bungalow in a leafy neighbourhood in Bromley Council into a modern, spacious two-storey family home. The property sat on a generous yet uneven garden plot, presenting both challenges and opportunities in design. We were engaged to develop a thoughtful and functional scheme

that maximized space, natural light, and usability while ensuring the new home blended harmoniously with its surroundings. The brief also included creating an outbuilding for use as a work-from-home office
