Loft Conversion and Rear Changes
Extension and Reconfiguration
We helped the client achieve three objectives: increase the living space, without increasing the budget too much and have less constraints on planning. This was achieved by proposing an extension of the loft and increasing the roof space as dormer at the rear and changes to the front façade with the addition of windows. The rear ground floor was also reconfigured to achieve a larger living space with plenty of natural light to create an open area along with easy access to the rear patio with the bifold doors.

The Brief
Our project entailed the design of a proposed dormer with Juliette Balcony in the rear elevation and roof lights in the front elevation to create additional living space in the roof with plenty of area and natural light. This allowed the client to have the option to use the space in a variety of ways. Additionally, the front façade of the house transformed into an appealing residence, along with a new modern front door and installation of rear bi-folding doors opening into the patio.
